Occupational Safety Manager

The Occupational Safety Manager (OSM) is an advanced safety management certification. Prior training can be validated to meet some of the requirements of this certification.

OSM Requirements

• Occupational Safety Trainer (OST) or equivilant*
• Professional Safety Auditor (includes the following)
• Job Hazard Analysis
• Site Safety Inspections
• Industrial Incident Investigations
• Safety Programs and Policies
• First Aid/CPR**

* equivilant courses to the OST may include the OSHA 500/501 or other trainer courses that may be submitted for evaluation.

** current American Red Cross and American Heart Association certificates meet this requirement. Additional First Aid/CPR/AED training providers may be submitted for evaluation.
